Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz met with the Director of the Department of International Relations and Legal Support of the Ministry of Culture of France Yannick Faure and head of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation Matthew Burton and discussed the possibilities of deepening bilateral partnership in the cultural sphere, including the field of cinematography. Given the great experience of France and achievements in the development of culture, Sadyk Sher-Niyaz proposed to introduce quotas for training and improving the professional skills of the museum staff of the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of exchanging experience in the restoration and preservation of ancient artifacts and museum exhibits.
The parties also discussed the issue of bilateral cooperation in the field of cinematography. The diplomat suggested considering the possibility of holding the Week of Kyrgyz Cinema in Paris and the French Film Week in Bishkek.
