Electrification of Balykchi — Lugovoye railway line has been included in the list of priority integration projects of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Nazarbek Malayev told at a press conference.
According to him, this railway line connects Kyrgyzstan with Kazakhstan and other countries. In addition, the republic has proposed to add two more projects to the list. These are the project of Balykchy — Kochkor — Kara-Keche — Makmal — Jalal-Abad railway and the project on development of a feasibility study of the reconstruction of Bishkek bypass road.
«The Eurasian Economic Commission is working on digitalization of transport corridors with the EAEU states. Relevant plans are being implemented for this purpose,» Nazarbek Malayev said.
