The State Service on Drug Control detected and stopped the supply of hash oil from the United States to Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
"A 31-year-old resident of the capital was detained while receiving drugs on May 11 in Bishkek. According to operating data, his accomplice systematically sent him drugs from the United States, hiding them under the guise of food products. The total weight of the seized reached 970 grams.
The drugs were intended to be refilled into electronic cigarettes. The price for 1 gram of refilled capsule is $100 on the black market.
A criminal case was initiated under Articles 285 (Smuggling of items for which special rules for moving across the customs border of the Kyrgyz Republic are established) and 282 (Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for the purpose of sale) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation is ongoing.
