A case of mass food poisoning of ten people after eating fast food occurred in Bishkek. The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision reported.
The capital’s Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision received a preliminary epidemiological report on June 7.
An unscheduled check of the fast food outlet was carried out, samples were taken from the same type of products for microbiological analysis, and washings were made from equipment, dishes and employees’ hands. All employees are scheduled to be examined for the pathogens of intestinal infection and staphylococcus aureus.
«Employees of the outlet did not have shipping documents. Stream-lining of production was not respected in the production process. Rules of sanitary treatment of raw vegetables and eggs were violated. Dirty eggs were brought into the production hall without proper labeling. A white mayonnaise sauce with a raw egg was prepared on the spot. The waybill did not correspond to the established form (there was no data on the manufacturer, time, name of the supplier and receiver, no numbering). There were no technological maps for prepared and sold products. Disinfection regime was not followed. Not all employees had medical cards,» the statement says.
Two protocols on the offense were drawn up against the responsible person, and two decisions were made to impose a fine. The total amount of penalties imposed is 36,000 soms.
A sanitary order was also issued to suspend the operation of the facility from June 7, 2023.
The department continues investigation of the incident.
