The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) initiated a criminal case against the candidate for deputy of the Parliament from Leninsky single-mandate constituency Ulan Sariev on the fact of bribery of voters. Press center of the SCNS reported.
Irrefutable evidence was obtained of an attempt to bribe voters during campaigning, use of money not included in the electoral fund, abuse of administrative resources and transportation of voters by a candidate S.U.A. (Sariev Ulan Almasbekovich. — Note of 24.kg news agency) and his associates.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 196 «Vote buying» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Relevant investigative and operational measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the case are ongoing. The collected materials will be sent to the Central Election Commission for further consideration on the merits.
