Employees of the Bishkek branch of Cadastre state institution caused damage to the state in the amount of more than 142 million soms. Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
By the decision of the City Hall of the capital, a LLC was granted a land plot of 1,524 hectares for free use for the design and construction of multi-storey residential buildings on the terms of transfer of 10 percent of the constructed housing to the ownership of the City Hall.
However, the company, by prior agreement with construction companies, as well as with officials of the Bishkek branch of Cadastre state institution, entered into agreements on joint activities in the construction of multi-storey buildings and subsequently sold apartments and premises to third parties without transferring the due share to municipal property. As a result, the state suffered damage in the amount of 142,683 million soms.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 «Abuse of official position» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An investigation is underway.
