Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Kyrgyzstan with residence in the city of Astana Gintautas Vasiulis on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The minister congratulated the Lithuanian side on the opening of the Honorary Consulate in Kyrgyzstan and the Honorary Consul of the country on the start of his mission.
Jeenbek Kulubaev noted the established warm and friendly relations between the two countries. He also announced Kyrgyzstan’s interest in activation of relations with Lithuania and expansion of comprehensive cooperation. At the same time, he noted the importance of exchanging visits at various levels.
Gintautas Vasiulis arrived in Kyrgyzstan in June 2021.
