The Italian region of Sardinia is ready to attract labor forces from Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
According to the press service of the ministry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Italy Taalai Bazarbaev made a working visit to Sardinia, where he met with the President and Director of the Regional Office of the National Association of Italian Agricultural Producers Сoldiretti Sardegna.
He noted an acute need of the agricultural enterprises of the island for qualified personnel and expressed readiness to attract Kyrgyzstanis to work in Italy in accordance with the legislation of the country.
The parties agreed to organize a visit of the management of Сoldiretti Sardegna to Kyrgyzstan in the first half of this year.
Taalai Bazarbaev also met with the Vice Rector of the University of Cagliari for International Relations. They discussed issues of development of cooperation in the field of education. The Ambassador proposed to sign an agreement on cooperation between the universities of the two countries in the near future.
