Employees of the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration revealed spread of extremist materials on social media and detained their author. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
«A user named Akhmadtyn Atasy posted information containing extremist materials on his Facebook page. The fact was registered in the police department of Alamedin district. The case was initiated under article 332 (production, distribution of extremist materials) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The author of the publications was identified. It turned out to be a resident of Issyk-Ata district, 56-year-old M.R., an adherent of the banned extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir,» the statement says.
