Committee on Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan ratified an agreement on the exchange of personal data in the CIS.
According to the Director of the State Agency for Protection of Personal Data, Nuriya Kutnaeva, the document will help Kyrgyz labor migrants in the EAEU countries.
«All this is being done for our compatriots working in neighboring countries. Exchange of personal information takes a very long time now, the necessary documents are requested. In order to reduce the time for data exchange, we are promoting this issue,» she said.
The head of the state agency noted that the following personal information is the subject of a request for legal assistance:
— On the presence (absence) of citizenship;
— On the availability of documents giving the right to permanent (temporary) stay (residence);
— On migration registration or registration at the place of residence (stay) of citizens;
— On the issuance of visas giving the right to enter the territory of the parties to the agreement;
— On real estate registered in the name of the subject of personal data in the territories of the parties to the agreement;
— On the obligations of a property nature that the subject of personal data has in the territories of the parties to the agreement;
— On bringing the subject of personal data to criminal or administrative liability;
— On identity documents.
Having considered the issue, the deputies ratified the agreement on mutual legal assistance in administrative matters in the field of the exchange of personal information, signed on December 18, 2020.
