President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev met with the Director of the German Commit company Gerrit Schmitter to discuss issues of further cooperation.
According to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visit of delegation from Germany is expected in the near future, which will include representatives of six large companies. Businessmen will also visit Osh city and take part in the business forum.
«The main interest of German businessmen is agriculture. In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has begun to export prunes and walnuts to Germany, wool and yak skin are also promising goods for entering the German market,» the statement says.
As part of the working visit to Germany, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev. The parties discussed the possibilities of further cooperation and attraction of German investments. The Ambassador actively invites Kyrgyz businessmen to Germany to search for partners and get acquainted with new technologies.
