Earthquake in Turkey: One Kyrgyzstani injured

According to preliminary data, there are no citizens of Kyrgyzstan among killed in the earthquake in Turkey. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

The ministry added that a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 39, was injured in Adana. She received the necessary medical care at the hospital. Her condition is satisfactory, she was discharged.

«Employees of the Consulate General in Antalya left for Adana, where 10 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were provided with food, water, warm clothes and blankets, hot meals and accommodated in a safe place,» the Foreign Ministry reported.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry stated that round-the-clock headquarters had been formed to monitor the situation and provide consular and legal assistance to the Kyrgyzstanis.

Two earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 and 7.5 hit southern Turkey on February 6 near Gaziantep city, where more than a million people live. Dozens of aftershocks were registered in Syria, Georgia and other countries.
