Almambet Shykmamatov becomes new head of Bishkek Free Economic Zone

Almambet Shykmamatov has been appointed the head of Bishkek Free Economic Zone (FEZ). The order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.

The previous head of Bishkek FEZ Kudret Taichabarov wrote a letter of resignation.

According to the ex-head of the FEZ, he was tired after being in office for two years and wrote a letter of resignation for health reasons.

Almambet Shykmamatov headed the headquarters of the candidate Sadyr Japarov in Naryn region in the presidential elections held on January 10, 2021.

On February 11, 2021, Shykmamatov was appointed a Director of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2021, he ran for deputy of the Parliament on the list of Yntymak party. In 2010, by decree of the head of state, he was awarded Dank medal.
