The first bonded warehouse is being built on the territory of Naryn Free Economic Zone (FEZ), which will be an important step for the development of the region and attracting investment to Naryn region. The press service of the National Investment Agency reports.
Construction of bonded warehouses on the territory of Naryn FEZ was discussed at a meeting of the Deputy Director of the national agency Nuradil Bayasov with the President of GuangDong Logistics Profession Association Ma Ren Hong and General Director of Guangzhou Flyt Logistic Limited Zhu Zewen.
As part of this initiative, the Chinese investors, together with the subject of Naryn FEZ, Kara-Bulak LLC, are working on the construction of a bonded warehouse in At-Bashi district of Naryn region.
In the future, it is planned to consider other projects, including the creation of an online platform for e-commerce and the construction of a car market on the territory of Naryn FEZ. A project to export agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to China will also be considered.
Bonded (free) warehouses are sites where imported goods can be stored indefinitely without going through customs procedures and paying taxes. Legally, such a warehouse is assigned to one of the customs offices, and formally the goods do not cross the customs border before leaving the warehouse. The site itself can be located anywhere in the country.
