In 2022, budget expenditures for servicing the public debt are estimated at 33,605.7 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Most of the amount — 22,112.7 billion soms — was spent on payments on external debt. 11,493 billion soms were allocated to pay off the internal public debt.
As a result of January — November 2022, the public debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $5.3 billion.
