Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the state of the cattle market in Sokuluk district of Chui region. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
He recalled that a year ago he gave instructions to put things in order in all the cattle markets of the country. The situation has changed for the better since then in most markets. Their administration has created the necessary conditions for sellers and buyers of livestock.
«But the situation in the cattle market in Sokuluk district is extremely unfavorable. In the coming days, the market should be put in order. Otherwise, more decisive measures will have to be taken both against the market owners and local officials who turn a blind eye to the current situation,» Akylbek Japarov said.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers got acquainted with the construction project of a new modern cattle market on 8 hectares of land.
«Full-scale construction work at this facility should begin this spring. It is also necessary to study the issue of the feasibility of implementation of the project within the framework of public-private partnership. This is an effective and efficient mechanism for interaction between the state and business. In any case, the Cabinet of Ministers will support implementation of the project for the construction of a new cattle market in Sokuluk district,» said Akylbek Japarov.
