Kyrgyzstan has reached a historical peak of consumption of electricity of 3,350 megawatts. The Chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding Talaibek Baigaziev told at a press conference.
According to him, the volume of water in the Toktogul reservoir is 12.1 billion cubic meters to date. Compared to last year, the figure is 1.4 billion cubic meters more. The inflow is 168 cubic meters per second, the flow rate is 800 cubic meters.
«Last year, daily electricity consumption was 55-56 million kilowatt-hours. Today it reaches 70 million kilowatt-hours,» he said.
