The number of unemployed people registered with the state employment service in search of work as of November 1, 2022 amounted to 101,800 people. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Compared to the same date last year, the figure decreased by 1.6 percent. Most of the unemployed are registered in Jalal-Abad (20,500 people) and Osh (17,300 people) regions. The lowest number of unemployed is registered in Naryn region (2,600 people) and the city of Osh (3,100 people).
At least 44.8 percent of the total number of registered unemployed are women. The registered unemployment rate in the total labor force reached 2.8 percent.
