Kyrgyzstan is completing negotiations on opening of a third highway linking the republic with China through Bedel mountain pass. The head of the Cabinet Akylbek Japarov announced at a meeting of Parliament.
Deputy Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov proposed the Cabinet of Ministers to open a transport road with China through Kara-Kuldzha district.
«I submitted you a proposal for the development of districts. If the road with China through Kara-Kuldzha is opened, then the district will develop on its own, the Cabinet of Ministers will not worry about its economy. It will be the shortest route to China. Only 150 kilometers,» said the MP.
Akylbek Japarov agreed with the need to develop relations with China.
«The whole world is trying to establish trade and economic relations with China. We are completing negotiations on the opening of Bedel road. This will be the third highway with China,» the head of the Cabinet said.
