Meeting Place Kyrgyzstan Center to open in Novogireyevo in Moscow

Multifunctional public center Meeting Place Kyrgyzstan, ​​built on the site of a former Soviet cinema, was commissioned in the east of Moscow. Website of the information center of the government of the capital of Russia reports, citing the head of Mosgosstroynadzor Igor Voistratenko.

«The regional center Meeting Place Kyrgyzstan in Novogireyevo will become the successor to one of the largest cinemas in the capital, which hosted the Moscow International Film Festival and many other significant events in the film industry. At the moment, the necessary permits have been issued, the developer can prepare to open the facility for Muscovites,» he said.

The area of ​​the four-story building, located at 81, Zeleny Prospekt, has been increased to 27,800 square meters. The renovated building will have a cinema complex with six halls equipped with modern screens and audio systems, shopping galleries and recreation areas, a food court, coffee houses and cafeterias. Underground parking has been built for the convenience of visitors. In the warm season, it is planned to open a green terrace on the roof with sun loungers for various events.

The building has mother and child rooms, escalators and elevators. The surrounding area is landscaped, ground parking is also available for visitors’ cars.

In addition to increasing the volume of the building, the center has modern technical content, including new video surveillance, fire extinguishing and emergency warning systems. All rooms will be accessible to people with disabilities.
