Akyn Bolot Nazarov placed in remand centre 1 in Bishkek

Bolot Nazarov, akyn (folk poet and singer) working for Temirov Live office, was placed in the remand centre 1 in Bishkek. Lawyer Bakytbek Avtandil told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, this decision was made by the Moskovsky District Court.

Bolot Nazarov will be in custody for one month.

The police reported on Wednesday that the akyn Bolot Nazarov was detained in Moskovsky district. A resident of Belovodskoye village wrote a statement against him. He said that Nazarov, under the pretext of taking a picture, took a horse from his underage son, and then, using force against the teenager, galloped away.

The fact was registered on the grounds of a crime under Article 206 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, a criminal case was initiated. The suspect was arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility. The stolen horse was found and seized as material evidence.
