Akyn Bolot Nazarov detained on suspicion of robbery

Bolot Nazarov, an akyn (folk poet and singer) from office of Temirov Life, was detained in Moskovsky district. He is suspected of robbery. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reports.

According to it, on November 7, a resident of Belovodskoye village applied to the police of Moskovsky district with a statement. He asked to take action against an unknown person who, under the pretext of taking a picture, took a horse from his underage son, after which, using force against him, galloped away.

The fact was registered on the grounds of a crime under Article 206 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, a criminal case was initiated. On November 9, the suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. The stolen horse was found and seized as material evidence.

Bolot Nazarov is also a defendant in a case on drugs along with journalist Bolot Temirov.
