Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov received members of the US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Measures were discussed to further strengthen the trade dialogue between the two countries.
Akylbek Japarov noted that in April 2022, during a working trip to the United States, he invited representatives of the U.S. business to visit Kyrgyzstan. He hopes that during the mission, representatives of American companies will have the opportunity to more specifically study the trade and investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic and establish mutually beneficial contacts with the business circles of the republic.
«Kyrgyzstan is always open for investments. The Cabinet of Ministers is pursuing a policy to create the most comfortable conditions for business. A liberal legislative framework has been created in the country regarding the protection of the rights of foreign investors,» the official noted and drew attention to the fact that the President signed the Law on the Park of Creative Industries.
The Kyrgyz Republic became the first country in the world to adopt such a document.
Representatives of the US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council noted that the main goal of creation of the organization was to develop business relations between the two states.
«The US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council represented by its representatives are good friends of the Kyrgyz Republic. We are ready to support initiatives aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries,» its head, Philip de Leon, said.
