Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Yerevan (Armenia) in person on October 20-21. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.
The Heads of Government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will discuss the sources and mechanisms for financing industrial cooperation projects within the Union, the issues of removing obstacles in the internal market of the Union and the development of an integrated information system.
The EEC will tell about the progress in the preparation of international agreements on the formation of common gas, oil and oil products markets, implementation of the main areas of industrial cooperation in the EAEU, and the opportunities for the Union countries to participate in the functioning of the Russian industrial zone in the economic zone of the Suez Canal.
The Heads of Government will also discuss the issues of crediting and distributing the amounts of import customs duties between the budgets of the EAEU states last year.
The Intergovernmental Council will consider the state of mutual trade between the countries of the association in 2021, joint projects on import substitution, and the first package of measures of the EAEU as part of the climate agenda.
«In order to develop electronic commerce in warehouse certificates for agricultural products, it is planned to sign an agreement on the rules for the issuance, circulation and redemption of such certificates within the EAEU at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council,» the statement says.
