Kyrgyzstani Emil Moldodosov won a silver medal at the Asian Weightlifting Championship, which takes place in Manama city (Bahrain) on October 8-16. The International Weightlifting Federation reported on Instagram.
He took the second place in the weight category up to 86 kilograms (total weight — 361 kilograms). An athlete from Kazakhstan won a gold medal (362 kilograms).
At least 187 athletes from over 25 countries participate in tournament. They compete for 20 sets of medals in ten weight categories among men and women.
