Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan Sadyr Japarov and Ilham Aliyev opened a school named after Nizami Ganjavi in Bishkek. Press service of the head of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The leaders of the two countries inspected the building of the educational institution.
The area of the educational institution is 2,031 square meters; it is designed for 550 students. In addition to classes, the school has a large assembly and sports halls, a canteen, a library, classrooms for extracurricular activities and a medical unit. Gymnastics grounds, recreation areas and a parking lot are planned on its territory.
The school was built at the expense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Its construction began in December 2019.
