Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that time dictates to take quick and effective measures for the development of the country.

«To mitigate the negative impact of challenges and risks on Kyrgyzstan, an anti-crisis plan and a work plan of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2022 have been developed. A positive trend in economic growth at the level of 7.2 percent was registered in January-September 2022. The Cabinet of Ministers closely monitors the indicators of fiscal sustainability,» Adylbek Kasymaliev said.

The ADB Board of Directors noted that the following main priority areas will be considered for financing: poverty reduction, support for the private sector, climate change issues, transport, energy, high-quality public administration and regional cooperation.

The ADB Board of Directors also noted that in the short term, the risks for Kyrgyzstan are the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, the crisis in Ukraine and the border conflict.
