At least 1.87 billion soms were allocated for social support of Batken region in 2022. The press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The head of the ministry, Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, met with residents of Leilek district, which suffered as a result of an attack by Tajik military personnel.
«In addition, 25 million soms were allocated for low-income families in the region for opening a small business,» he said.
The official visited temporary accommodation centers for evacuated residents of border areas. Flour, wheelchairs and crutches were distributed among those in need.
About 30 tons of flour will be distributed in Leilek district.
