The son of the former ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia Azimbek Beknazarov, Ruslan, was placed in the remand center 1 in Bishkek. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
The decision was taken by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. Ruslan Beknazarov will remain in custody until October 14.
Ruslan Beknazarov is suspected of distributing extremist materials on Facebook. The materials promoted the ideology of the extremist-terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in Kyrgyzstan.
