Participants of Silk Road Rally from Danube to Orhun arrive in Kyrgyzstan

Participants of the International Silk Road Rally from Danube to Orhun arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Kiyal Kenzhematova, told 24.kg news agency.

According to her, they were met at Ak-Zhol — Avtodorozhny checkpoint.

The rally started on August 21 in Hungary, the finish was scheduled for September 11 in Kyrgyzstan. The route through the territory of the republic was supposed to start in Osh, continue in Jalal-Abad, run through Son-Kul, Issyk-Kul (Cholpon-Ata) lakes and end in Bishkek. However, it has been changed.

The rally involved 15 cars with 30 participants from Kazakhstan, Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey. Eight cars and 16 rally participants arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
