The annual growth of Kyrgyzstan’s economy is expected at the level of 3-6 percent in 2022-2026. This forecast is given by the Russian Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA).
At the same time, consumer inflation in 2022 is expected to reach 8.3 percent. But by 2026, the figure will decline to 5 percent in case of no new major inflationary shocks in key trading partner countries.
«The economy of the republic is characterized by a high level of external dependence on trade channels, especially on imports (the shares of Russia and China are 34 and 26 percent, respectively), as well as a significant outflow of labor resources from the labor market abroad. The latter can become a source of pressure on the public sector in the long term through pension insurance, and in the current period is a source of risks for the country’s balance of payments and aggregate demand in the economy,» the agency notes.
