By the end of the year, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan plans to replenish the six-month supply of vital medicines. The Deputy Head of the ministry, Ulan Sadykov, announced live.
He noted that the purchase of such drugs requires special preparation. At present, the delivery process is well established.
«A large batch of insulin has been delivered to Kyrgyzstan. Tenders for the purchase will still be held so that their volumes are enough for six months. To date, we have stocks of insulin, medicines for people with cancer, as well as immunosuppressive drugs,» Ulan Sadykov told.
He also noted that control over the export of medicines abroad will be strengthened.
Earlier, the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reported an attempt to export medicines worth more than 9 million soms. Russian online media wrote that there is a shortage of 80 types of medicines in the Russian Federation that is why the Russians began to go to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to get them.
Kyrgyzstan received an annual supply of Protaphane insulin in early August. Its deliveries have been suspended since March. The Ministry of Health explained the delay in import of the drug by an increase in the delivery time by the plant itself and the failure of the tender in February.
