Police Lieutenant Colonel arrested for extortion in Bishkek

The head of the City Police Station 1 of the Internal Affairs Department of Leninsky district of Bishkek was detained for extortion. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

According to the state committee, the detainee extorted money from citizens who turned to the police. He was placed in the temporary detention center of the SCNS.
