EAEU Prime Ministers arrive in Cholpon-Ata city

The Heads of Government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) arrived in Cholpon-Ata to participate in a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan — Alikhan Smailov, Armenia — Nikol Pashinyan, Russia — Mikhail Mishustin and Belarus — Roman Golovchenko arrived in the country. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev met the guests.

At the invitation of Akylbek Japarov, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, will take part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, arrived in Issyk-Kul region the day before and managed to attend the first Youth Forum of the CIS countries and the EAEU.

At the meeting, the Heads of Government of the EAEU countries will consider the progress in preparing an international agreement on formation of a common gas market. They will discuss the issue of amending the agreement regarding the collection of indirect taxes on electronic trade in goods sold to individuals, the list of priority integration infrastructure projects of the EAEU countries in the field of transport. The agenda includes the issue of further work to expand the use of national currencies in settlements within mutual trade.
