Mother of four children was severely beaten by her husband in Chui region of Kyrgyzstan. The suspect was detained while trying to leave for Russia, and then placed under house arrest. The Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region informed 24.kg news agency.
The man was charged under Article 177 «Family Violence» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The court decision on house arrest is explained by the fact that the 33-year-old defendant has a permanent place of residence, his identity has been established and the crime he is charged with is less serious.
Relatives of the victim are dissatisfied with the decision of the court.
