The Days of Kyrgyz Culture will be held in Irkutsk Oblast of Russia on August 31. Press service of the Baikal Buryat Center for Indigenous Cultures reports.
This year they are timed to coincide with the State Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This is a series of large-scale events: festivals, concerts, exhibitions dedicated to Kyrgyzstan, its history and culture, as well as friendly relations between the countries.
The Kyrgyz traditional culture will be presented for the guests of the event. The program includes musical and song performances, folk dances, tasting of national cuisine, a chess tournament, traditional kurosh wrestling, kok-boru and ancient horse games.
The event will take place in Pozdnyakova village in Irkutsk Oblast.
