Young athletes of the Bishkek Children’s and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve in billiards and cycling took 11 prize-winning places at the international tournament in Almaty. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
VISA Tour of World Class Almaty cycling race took place in early August. The tournament was held among men, women and juniors. About 2,000 people from 10 countries participated in it. Kyrgyzstan was represented by 11 athletes aged 12-17.
As a result, athletes from Bishkek won four gold, five silver and two bronze medals.
Sardorbek Maktkarimov, Elizaveta Sheremetova, Evgenia Berezovskaya and Alexander Dyadichkin won first places in different disciplines and age categories.
Shakhrukh Matkarimov, Alimina Chalova, Mukhamed-Ali Matkarimov, Daniyar Velyamov and Vadim Kozlov took the second places. Kirill Safronov and Erlan Orolov took the third places.
