Nurdin Medetov becomes head of Tennis Federation of Kyrgyzstan

Nurdin Medetov was appointed the head of the Tennis Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The organization informed 24.kg news agency.

He replaced Marat Kunakunov at this post.

Nurdin Medetov is 35 years old. He began his tennis career at the age of nine. At the age of 15, he won the title of national champion in doubles. He quit the professional sports at the age of 18, switching to coaching. He graduated from the Academy of Tourism.

He was the coach of the women’s tennis team of ASA College in New York, leading it from the third division to the second, worked for Bensonhurst Tennis Club, 95st tennis sports club. He did business abroad.

In Bishkek, Nurdin Medetov built Ervin tennis school. He is a playing captain and participates in tournaments with the national team.

As the president of the Federation, he promises the development and popularization of tennis in all regions of the country.
