The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan proposes to establish a procedure for compensating the affected party for damage from a specialized fund. The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, submitted for public discussion, says.
The state will pay the victim only if the convicted person is not able to cover the moral costs himself.
The document also states that only those who have become a victim under grave and especially grave articles — «Murder», «Causing grievous bodily harm», «Rape» can count on state compensation.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the state should more actively conduct an information campaign on property insurance in order not to allocate money from the specialized fund for payments to victims in the future.
