The Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of Kyrgyzstan (CMIF) paid 18.943 million soms to medical workers who had recovered from COVID-19. Press service of the Fund reported.
At least 254 medical workers received compensation.
In the context of areas:
- At least 130 medical workers received compensation in Bishkek — a total of 10,078 million soms;
- In Jalal-Abad region — 13 (957,000 soms);
- In Naryn — 3 (184,500 soms);
- In Osh region — 18 (1,137 million soms);
- In Chui region — 38 (3,061 million soms);
- In Talas region — 9 (606,000 soms);
- In Issyk-Kul region — 37 (2,382 million soms);
- In Batken region — 6 (537,000 soms).
The CMIF noted that the payments were made in accordance with the government decree on approval of the procedure for payment of compensation for harm caused to the life and health of health care workers involved in activities in a state of emergency dated January 11, 2021.
