Fresco appears in Bishkek as sign of solidarity and support for Ukrainian people

A fresco appeared in Bishkek as a sign of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people. Art manager Akzhibek Beishebaeva announced on Instagram.

According to her, it was her idea and the artists Vera Andrianova and Arslan Narynbekov brought it to life.

The fresco depicting two girls, a Kyrgyz and a Ukrainian, was painted on a wall along the Southern Big Chui Canal at the intersection of Sukhe Bator and Yunusaliev streets.

«This is an artistic way to express support for the Ukrainian people during the war and, in particular, for girls and women,» the initiator noted.

Situation in Ukraine remains difficult. The fighting continues. Russia announced a special military operation on February 24, 2022. The number of casualties among the military and civilians continues to grow. Many states have imposed and continue to impose severe sanctions against the Russian Federation.
