Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak at the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin.
Akylbek Japarov noted the dynamic development of cooperation in the oil and gas industry between the two countries, interest in strengthening and building up cooperation in the energy sector.
Alexander Novak expressed readiness to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector. The parties discussed a set of topical issues.
