More than 50 tons of smuggled carbamide were found and seized in Shamaldy-Sai. Press service of the State Customs Service reported.
«A Volvo truck with a semi-trailer was detained. Product was found in the vehicle during inspection — carbamide packaged in bags with a total weight of 25 tons. The cost of the goods is estimated at 680,250 soms. The cargo was illegally imported into the territory of the EAEU from Uzbekistan,» the statement says.
The second cargo was also found in the town in another Volvo truck with a semi-trailer.
«At least 507 bags of packaged carbamide were found in the cargo compartment of the second truck. The total weight of illegally imported cargo was 25,350 kilograms. Its cost is estimated at 1,064,700 soms,» the Customs Service informed.
