Since the beginning of the year, 5,526 tons of wool have been produced in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
«Wool production, in comparison with last year’s figures, increased only at farms in Naryn and Talas regions, while a decrease in production is registered in other regions,» the ministry says.
Sheep shearing in the regions began late due to weather conditions. According to the results of the first half of the year, the volume of wool production will increase.
