The campaign began on May 26, and almost 90 percent of the pilgrims have been vaccinated.
«To date, the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis, regional immunologists and vaccination nurses are vaccinating against COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In addition, pilgrims are vaccinated against influenza and meningitis,» the ministry said.
In total, according to the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, 2,766 places have been allocated to Kyrgyzstan this year. The quota was set by the authorities of Saudi Arabia.
