A beauty and talent contest for women using a wheelchair was held in Bishkek. Its organizers informed 24.kg news agency.
«This is my long-held dream. I’ve been going to this for five years. I wanted the strongest women to be able to take part in this wonderful competition and show the whole country that we exist and we can also achieve something. Every girl who participates in the contest today is already a winner in life,» Gulzana Dzharkynbaeva, one of the organizers, the Chairwoman of «We are — We are Together» Public Foundation, said.
Eleven women took part in the contest.
The event was attended by civil activists, managers of funds, bloggers and famous singers.
The contest is planned to be held annually.
