Incidence of brucellosis has decreased in Kyrgyzstan. Review of infectious and parasitic morbidity of the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance for January-April says.
It is noted that, compared with the same period in 2021, the incidence of brucellosis decreased by 11.1 percent.
«At least 213 cases were registered (in 2021 — 238). High incidence rates are in Naryn, Jalal-Abad and Chui regions,» the review says.
At the same time, the incidence of echinococcosis increased 2.1 times. About 333 cases were registered (in 2021 — 319) for four months.
Brucellosis and echinococcosis are diseases that are transmitted to humans from animals, including from farm ones.
