«One of the tasks that we face is the convergence of our education programs,» Sergei Glazyev, member of the Board (Minister) in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), said at the 1st Eurasian Economic Forum.
According to him, the work carried out by the EEC mainly concerns the removal of all kinds of barriers in the common economic space. This also applies to the labor market.
«We managed to achieve the removal of barriers in terms of the recognition of diplomas of higher education, an agreement has been prepared on the direct recognition of documents on academic degrees and titles. Now we need to work on general education programs for those specialties that are in demand in the common economic space,» Sergei Glazyev noted.
