A book by a Kyrgyz writer Nargisa Karasartova has been published in London (UK). Website of the National Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan says.
The fairy tale «Leah and Aya the Sewing Doll» by a poet and member of the Union of Writers has been published in English by Hertfordshire Press.
Earlier, Nargis Karasartova won the first place in the non-fiction category at the Eurasian Art Guild Competition Open Eurasia — 2020, winning $5,000. This money was used to produce a collection of fairy tales.
The children’s book was written in Russian and then translated into English. The editor of the collection is artist Timur Akhmedzhanov, and the illustration was created by an artist Svetlana Nasynbatova. The fairy tale is intended for children of preschool and primary school age. It will be sent to the National British Library.
