Three cities of Kyrgyzstan will host «European Villages» festive events on the occasion of Europe Day. Delegation of the European Union reports.
According to it, joint celebration in Bishkek, Osh and Karakol will unite the EU member states, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the general public. The celebration marks an important historical date — 30th anniversary of bilateral cooperation between the European Union and the Kyrgyz Republic.
«European Villages» will reflect the main achievements of the bilateral partnership, present the culture of the EU member states, and offer perspectives for future cooperation. Visitors will be able to try traditional European dishes, watch colorful show program, participate in various contests with prizes, as well as enjoy performances by famous local artists — Tamga, Tolgonai Arzykeeva and Combo Band.
The events will take place on May 10 at 1 p.m. in three cities:
- Bishkek, alley near Kurmanjan Datka monument (near Ala-Too cinema);
- Osh, Toktogul Satylganov Park;
- Karakol, Central square of the city.
